Cole Eckerman
Director

Formerly the Executive Director of Citizens for Off-Leash Areas (COLA). She earned a Master of Science in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy from Bay Path College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received her BA from The Evergreen State College.

Hailing from Portland, OR, Cole has worked as a professional fundraiser for over 10 years. She moved to Seattle in 2006 to work on the Yes on I-937 campaign, directing the door-to-door grassroots fundraising efforts for the initiative. Cole loves working as a fundraiser, because she sees cultivating donations as a way to connect people with issues they care about. She specialized in individual gift fundraising, new media fundraising, and donor cultivation.

When she isn’t changing the world one donation at a time, Cole can be found in and around her home in Seattle’s Madison Valley neighborhood, which she shares with her husband Nathan, their hound dog Winchester, Chihuahua Rue and English Mastiff Lagertha. She spends her free time going to dog parks, wine tasting, and hiking around Washington’s different viticulture regions.
