Lower Kinnear Dog Off-Leash Park
UPDATE: Lower Kinnear has been recommended for permanency. Thank you to all of you who supported this cause!
The Seattle Parks Board of Commissioners will have a presentation and hold a public hearing regarding permanency of the Lower Kinnear Off-Leash facility.
The area has been successful in building a sense of community in the neighborhood and in deterring negative, destructive activities in the secluded part of Kinnear Park.
The $70,000.00 invested in that site has been an excellent investment (especially for residents of Uptown’s dense, Urban Center). The park is a great amenity for the neighborhood!
The dog park is supported by the Queen Anne Community Council, FOLKPARK (Friends of Lower Kinnear Park) and Citizens for Off-Leash Areas (COLA).
