The Friends of Smith Cove Park group has started planning to transform the park, with a Small and Simple Projects grant and the selection of a design firm to develop a conceptual park plan.

The Friends of Smith Cove Park group has started planning to transform the park, with a Small and Simple Projects grant and the selection of a design firm to develop a conceptual park plan.

A kayak landing. An off-leash dog park. Maybe a p-patch community garden.

The Friends of Smith Cove Park are asking for the public’s input on how to utilize Magnolia’s beachfront park that will take shape as early as next year.

Plans are in place to transform the park, located south of the Magnolia Bridge, but the specifics are up for debate.
