Summer Events
This summer is packed full of events where you and your dog can get out on the town and enjoy the sun! Join COLA as we celebrate our dog-friendly city at local street fairs and festivals throughout Seattle.
The best part about volunteering for COLA is that you get to volunteer with your dog! For details on how to get involved, please email info@seattlecola.org.
- June 13th @ 10am – Smith Cove Walking Tour of Potential Off-Leash Area
- Join COLA at 10am at 23rd Ave W, between Marina Place and W. Galer St. 98199. A one acre fenced OLA is a real possibility at Smith Cove, and if you would like to see a new dog park take shape, come out and be heard!
- June 14th @ 10am – Seattle Animal Shelter’s Furry 5k
- June 17th @ 9am – Q-13 Segment on Dog Fashion Show
- We need 4-5 well-dressed dogs to join us in studio as we provide a sneak-peak at the Solstice Dog Parade. This is first come – first served, so please email us early for your pup’s 15 minutes of fame!
- June 20th @ 10am – Seattle Pet Expo
- Admission is FREE to the 2015 Pet Expo at the Seattle Convention Center! Come join the fun and check out the latest updates from COLA.
- June 21st @ 2pm – Fremont Fair Dog Parade!
- Join us for one of Seattle’s signature summer events! The Solstice Dog Parade will take place at 2:30pm, with registration open at 11am. Bring your dog and receive a free COLA bandana. A select number of participants will be featured on KING-5!
- July 10th, 11th & 12th – West Seattle Summer Fest at the Pet Junction
- Come visit our COLA booth at the Pet Junction where we’ll have the latest news on changes coming to dog parks throughout the city.
- July 18th @ 10am – Westcrest DoggieFest Dog Party Extravaganza!
- Help us celebrate West Seattle’s only OLA with an awesome dog party! The first 250 attendee’s will receive a free gift bag, and each attendee will receive a free chance to win exceptional prizes including a dog-friendly vacation and free pet food for a year!
- August 14th @ 11am-1:30pm – Amazon’s Doggie Days
- COLA will be hosting a booth to help connect Amazonians to their local off-leash areas. Come join us on Amazon’s South Lake Union campus!
